This fall, explore downtown and discover festive window displays and hidden surprises with two fun, family-friendly activities: the Halloween Window Display Contest and Where’s the Witch scavenger hunt. Stroll through downtown, visit participating businesses, and see what spooky fun you can find along the way!

Halloween Window Display Contest

Throughout October, downtown businesses will transform their storefront windows with creative, festive, spooky, and fun seasonal displays.

As you explore downtown, keep an eye out for colorful fall scenes, playful Halloween decorations, and plenty of spooky surprises. Downtown Rutland Partnership will highlight participating businesses and their displays throughout the month on social media.

At the end of October, we’ll celebrate some of our favorite displays and showcase the winners. Come downtown, check out the creativity, and enjoy a little extra Halloween spirit while you shop, dine, and explore!

Where’s the Witch? A Scavenger Hunt

A witch is hiding in Downtown Rutland! Can you find her?

This October, explore downtown and visit participating businesses as you search for hidden witches throughout the district. Pick up a scavenger hunt list, then make your way from stop to stop to find each hidden witch. Once you’ve completed the hunt, turn in your scavenger hunt for a chance to receive fun Halloween prizes!
