Halloween Window Contest
The Halloween Window Contest returns to Downtown Rutland, Vermont! Local businesses and organizations are getting into the spirit of the season by transforming their windows with creative, spooky, and autumn-inspired displays.
Throughout October, take a stroll through downtown, check out the participating windows, and vote for your favorite!
Three guest judges will select winners in several themed categories, but you get to decide the People’s Choice Award. The business or organization that receives the most public votes will be crowned the 2026 People’s Choice winner.
Photos of all participating displays will be available on our website and social media when voting opens on October 1.
Voting is open October 1–30. All winners will be announced on Halloween, October 31, on the Downtown Rutland Facebook page and this webpage.
