Join us for six fun Friday evenings this summer as Downtown Rutland comes alive with street parties, live music, family-friendly activities, outdoor dining, community experiences, and more! With Center Street and Merchants Row closed to vehicle traffic, attendees will enjoy a pedestrian-friendly downtown filled with shopping, dining, entertainment, and opportunities to connect with the community.

Summer marks the return of Friday Night Live! You asked, and we listened. This year, downtown will host a six-weeks of events!
Join us every Friday night from July 10 to August 14 this summer as Downtown Rutland, Vermont comes alive with street parties, live music, family-friendly activities, outdoor dining, community experiences, and more! It’s the perfect opportunity to connect with neighbors, rediscover downtown, and support local businesses while enjoying a lively and safe community.
Center Street and Merchants Row are blocked off for the evening, and vendors set up along the streets in an open-air fashion while visitors enjoy a featured experience, outdoor dining, children's activities, and more.

Reimagining Friday Night Live for Downtown Rutland
In past years, Friday Night Live focused on two to three large-scale concert events each summer. This year, we are expanding the series into six themed Friday nights running from July 10 through August 14, creating a consistent weekly attraction for downtown businesses, residents, and visitors.
Hosted in Downtown Rutland, the reimagined Friday Night Live will create vibrant and welcoming gathering spaces while encouraging attendees to explore downtown, shop local, and dine at our restaurants before, during, and after each event.
Rather than focusing exclusively on major concerts, each Friday night will feature its own unique theme and activities, including:

Live local music
Family-friendly activities
Interactive community experiences
This new format will help create:
More consistent foot traffic throughout the summer
Diverse experiences for families, residents, and visitors
Increased opportunities for local businesses to benefit from repeat attendance
A stronger sense of community connection in Downtown Rutland
