Rutland Ishidoriya Student Exchange (RISE)
RISE is a student exchange program that has connected students from Rutland and Hanamaki, Japan, through cultural exchange since 1986. Each year, six Rutland students are selected to travel to Japan, where they meet their exchange students, stay with their families, and immerse themselves in Japanese culture.
