Green Up Downtown Rutland!
We’re excited for Green Up Downtown Rutland on Saturday, May 2, 2026! This is a great opportunity for our community to come together and help keep downtown clean, vibrant, and welcoming.
Event Details:
Time: 9:00 – 11:00 AM
Location: Depot Park (to get started)
Volunteers can stop by Depot Park to pick up trash bags, gloves, safety vests, and maps—everything you need to participate.
To help us cover the entire downtown area, we encourage both individuals and groups to select a cleanup zone (A–I). You can sign up online here: volunteersignup.org/JW3T4
If your business or organization would like to reserve a specific zone, please email volunteer@downtownrutland.com and we’ll add your group to the list. Each zone starts with 10 available spots, but we’re happy to accommodate larger groups as needed.
Not part of a group? No problem—individual volunteers are always welcome, and we’ll make sure you have a place to jump in.
At the end of the morning, we’ll tally the collected Green Up bags and celebrate the impact we’ve made together.
A special thank you to the Rutland County Solid Waste District for their partnership. Outreach Coordinator Brian (“Pancakes”) will be stationed outside City Hall with a truck to collect all filled trash bags.
We hope to see you there, and we truly appreciate your support in keeping downtown Rutland clean!
