Reveal, who managed the bar for several months prior, added new seating, fixed the bar stools, and repainted. "I left corporate America, and now I'm here. It's good to be home and able to benefit the community," Reveal said. He plans to add a kitchen in the future.

Tim Puro, former co-owner of Muck's and current owner of Puro's Coins and Jewelry, made this statement about the transition.

"Owning the bar with one of my best friends, Chris “Boo” Bourque, has been a fantastic experience. It was almost like Norm and Cliff buying Cheers! We are really proud of what we accomplished in our three years of ownership. Muck’s was already a great bar when we purchased it, and we would like to think we made it even better. Matt has some big plans for the bar, and we can’t wait to see all of the changes," Puro said.

"My main business is my coin and jewelry shop, and I plan to dedicate more of my time building that business. I will also be stopping by Muck’s for one of their fantastic Irish Whiskies!"

Chris "Boo" Bourque, current owner of Olympic Pizza, also expressed his confidence in Reveal as the new owner. " I think Matt will do just fine," Boo Said. "He's very excited and we couldn't be happier that the business is going to a local guy that's also a patron. He's been in the beer business for a long time and it was just time for us to sell."

Muck's grand reopening celebration, featuring drink specials and giveaways, will be held this Saturday, May 19th.
